AI/ML Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented AI/ML Intern to join our core tech team. If you are passionate about building intelligent systems, training smart models, and turning complex datasets into actionable insights, this role is for you. You will work closely with senior engineers to design, deploy, and scale machine learning models that directly impact our platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Pipeline Management: Assist in collecting, cleaning, preprocessing, and labeling unstructured datasets.
• Model Development: Implement, test, and fine-tune machine learning and deep learning models for classification, regression, or NLP tasks.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze model metrics, debug bottlenecks, and optimize algorithms for high accuracy and low latency.
• System Integration: Collaborate with backend developers to deploy models into cloud environments and production APIs.
• Research & Innovation: Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI/ML tools, frameworks, and open-source models to improve existing systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong foundational programming skills in Python and its scientific ecosystem (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn).
• Hands-on experience or academic projects using deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• A solid grasp of core mathematical concepts including linear algebra, statistics, and probability.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Preferred (Bonus): Experience with GenAI workflows, Prompt Engineering, LLM APIs (OpenAI, Hugging Face), or computer vision (OpenCV).
